Henderson Stone & Co Ltd has experienced significant growth since the inception of the company in 2002. Having started with 4 advisers, we currently have 12 financial and mortgage advisers backed up by a team of paraplanners, marketing and administration staff.

Our vision is to create one of the largest, most profitable, and most respected advice-based distribution firms in the Financial Services Industry in Scotland. One of our key strategies is to recruit people with an excellent attitude and then provide ongoing training and development in both knowledge and skills.

We have 7,000 clients and a regular stream of prospective clients from our website, introducers and referrals. As we continue to expand we are looking to recruit highly motivated people in the following areas:

Financial Advisers

You will convert pension and investment leads generated from within the company and be expected to create further business by cross selling and referrals. You will conduct a complete financial review with your clients and design solutions to suit their individual needs. Your contract will be on a self-employed basis and financial support may be provided to help you become established. You will receive ongoing training and development in both knowledge and skills.

Mortgage Advisers

You will convert qualified mortgage leads from a variety of sources both internally and externally and will be expected to provide your clients with a full protection package on top of the correct mortgage for their needs. Your contract will be on a self-employed basis and financial support may be provided to help you become established. You will receive ongoing training and development in both knowledge and skills.

Paraplanners

If you are already fully qualified or part qualified in financial services, or you want to take the next step up from administration, then we are keen to talk to you about our paraplanners role. As a paraplanner you will experience the administrative side as well as the marketing and sales side of financial services. When you have developed the skills and knowledge, we will appoint you as an adviser if you wish to advance your career. You will be paid a salary and be given the ability to earn bonuses.

Administration

You will provide dedicated comprehensive administrative support to our mortgage, financial advisers and paraplanners working in a friendly team environment. You will gain valuable experience in all aspects of sales support and should you wish to become a paraplanner in the future, this is the ideal stepping stone. An attractive remuneration package comes with this position.
