Main interests revolve around the family and the family house in Spain. Hobbies include learning Spanish and local Spanish customs. Also include following football, playing golf, reading and listening to music.

- Joined life insurance industry in 1984 after a career as a pipeline engineer in the gas industry.
Worked with Colonial Mutual, Legal & General, Royal Life until joining Allied Dunbar as a Development Manager in 1994.
Set up own Practice in 1998. Joined Henderson Stone in 2005
