Planning and funding for yourself, a family member or a friend
We recommend planning for long-term care before it becomes a necessity. Long term care planning can provide the funds you or a family member will need to pay for basic, daily care activities, either in your own home, in residential care or a nursing home. Several of our advisers are qualified to give specialist advice on long-term care planning and will advise you as part of a holistic overview of your financial situation and your personal circumstances.
Initial discussions will be to gather as much information on you as possible, including financial information about the person requiring care. We will also check you’re receiving everything your entitled to, even those planning on self-funding could be entitled to some benefits (including NHS funding). If long term care is sought urgently our advisers will find the best options for an Immediate Care Annuity (sometimes known as a Long Term Care Annuity) to suit your situation.
We can also help you put together a plan to cover any future care you or a loved one might need. Our advisers understand the market and have up to date and comprehensive knowledge on the options offered by long term care providers.
